A socket bomb was found in the office premises of District Coordination Committee Jumla. On Saturday evening, workers who were building the wall of the coordination committee found a socket bomb.
Gaurinanda Acharya, head of the
committee, said that the police and army were informed as soon as the socket bomb was found. He said, "The bomb is rusted". It looks like it is made of thick GI pipe.'
Panic has spread in the office after the bomb was found in the office premises. The place where the bomb was found has been surrounded by the police and the army. "The army is waiting for the above order to dispose of the bomb," Chief Acharya said, "The army has prepared to dispose of the bomb as soon as the order comes". It is suspected that this bomb may have been left by the Maoists during the crisis. Chief Acharya said that even though the office was open, it was not working.
