An abandoned body was found on the river bank in Dolpa.
Ruk Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office Dolpa, informed that the body of an unidentified man of about 40 years was found on the bank of a river in Simodar, Kaike Rural Municipality 5.
Looking at the nature of the body, DSP Khadka said that since it is assumed that he may have fallen from a hill, he has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem.
Locals informed the police after a dead body was found on the bank of the river. As soon as the news was received, a team of eight policemen led by Sub-Inspector Bishnu Chaudhary from the area police office, Charka, reached the spot and picked up the body, the police said.
