Shanti Mavi at Narharinath-6 Malkot Ratimata, which was closed after the building collapsed due to a landslide, is yet to open. The school has been closed since Tuesday after the landslide that fell from the top of the school last Monday evening destroyed the two-storey concrete building and damaged the water supply, furniture and other structures.
Principal Harishchandra Batala said that the landslide that fell from the rear of Shanti Mavi, where education from Bal Vikas Kendra to Class 12, damaged the new concrete building and stones were coming from the landslide site, said the school was closed. 'First come Stones sometimes fall from the place,' he said. He told that an emergency meeting of the school management committee was held and it was decided to close the school for 5 days.
