The Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yamlal Kandel, has said that for the proper development of the province, further improvements are needed in the process from plan selection to budget allocation.
Addressing the discussion program on Karnali Province project proposal and selection process procedure, 2081 and Karnali Province Project Bank (Operation and Management) standard, 2081 with the members of the Karnali State Assembly, Chief Minister Kandel emphasized on the need to improve the next year's budget by learning lessons from the past.
The Chief Minister said that although there is a separate budget for development and construction, cooperation between all levels of government and agencies is indispensable. CPN-UML whip Tekraj Pachai said that the creation of the procedure gave a positive sign of good governance in Karnali, and mentioned that the basis for the implementation of the result-oriented plan has been prepared by correcting the weaknesses in the past.
