The Rukum District Court has ordered Chandra Bahadur Budhathoki of Chowrazahari Municipality-3 Tatagaon to be remanded in custody pending trial.

The order was issued by the bench of District Court Judge Ram Prasad Basyal after the hearing held on Tuesday.

Chandra Bahadur of Chowjahari killed his 30-year-old wife Devika Budhathoki with a sharp weapon during a dispute over a general business.  After the complaint of deceased Devika's brother Gobind Khatri  The process of investigation on the said case was advanced.

On Tuesday, after the detention debate, Chandra Bahadur was ordered to be sent to prison for preliminary investigation. The order also said that after the death of the wife, 7 lakh rupees should be paid as an interim compensation from the victims' relief fund, which will be borne by the government of Nepal for the care, upbringing and protection of the minor children.
