Hundreds of sheep have gone missing in a landslide in Tatopani rural municipality-8 Rakse Patan of Jumla on Monday.
Amar Bahadur Rokaya, Ward President of Tatopani Rural Municipality-4, informed that 13 sheep were found dead among those missing in the landslide that fell around 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
According to him, more than 400 sheep are missing. The missing sheep could not be found due to bad weather. 8/9 farmers' sheep including Sarpraj Rawal of Tatopani-7 have fallen in the landslide.
Locals were deployed along with the temporary police post Tamti to get information about the incident. But due to sudden changes in the weather at high altitudes, Rokaya said that the search was not effective. A horse was also found dead in the landslide. Another 8/9 horses are missing.
