The police have arrested five people who were secretly gambling in Dolpa. The police arrested them while they were gambling on the third floor of the B&B Hotel in the capital Dunai.

DSP Ruk Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office informed that all those arrested will be prosecuted according to section 125 of the Criminal Code, 2074.

According to him, the Dolpa police have arrested gamblers in previous incidents, but the case has not been prosecuted.

The police said that one lakh eighteen thousand two hundred and seventy-five rupees in cash and tas gaddis were recovered from the gambling hall.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, it has been revealed that the accused gambled money through cash and bank transactions.
