10 mules died due to electrocution in Lums village located in Chayannath Rara municipality 12 of Mugu district. 10 mules died after being electrocuted by the national electricity transmission line around 10 o'clock on Sunday night.

Mugu District Assistant Chief District Officer Vivakar Mishra confirmed that 10 mules belonging to three farmers of Lums village had died. According to him, 4 mules of Karna Bahadur Malla, 3 of Jakti Baduwal and 3 of Prithvi Bahadur AD have died. Earlier on Saturday, a buffalo died due to electrocution in the same place.

When he reached the place where the transmitter of the national broadcasting line was kept, the mule was suddenly electrocuted. Assistant Chief District Officer Mishra said that the mule was electrocuted. He said, "The mules died due to electric shock in Looms, which is 45 minutes away from Sadarmukam." The police team has reached the scene.' 

Bishnu Kumar Bham, head of Chhaynath Rara municipality, said that due to the negligence of the electricity authority, farmers had to lose their mules. "The transmitter was placed on the road," he said, "current leaked." The mule died.'

Electricity Authority employees have been asked to immediately go to the scene and collect the bond.

Mayor Bham added, "I have been asked to immediately bring the technicians and install the transmitters in a safe and orderly manner." Even now, goods such as daily necessities are being transported by mules in remote areas. 

Now it is forbidden to go near the dead mule due to electrocution. The locals have demanded compensation for the dead mules and safe connection of electricity.
