A 6 point manifesto 2082 has been issued for the improvement of public education in Jumla.
Social Development Office Jumla project, Chandannath Municipality, Pesh Nepal, Plan Nepal and Kirdak Nepal support and coordination and Nepal Journalists Federation Branch Jumla, organized a one-day comprehensive debate and interaction program for the improvement of public education at the district level has issued a 6-point manifesto.
A debate and interaction program was organized to improve the problems seen in education recently. In the manifesto, it has been emphasized that the municipality should provide a lump-sum subsidy to the school to support the project work and experimental work determined by the curriculum.
It is also mentioned in the manifesto that no teacher should stay in one school for more than 5 years, that teacher transfer should be made systematic, transparent and predictable, and that a suitable environment should be ensured in cooperation between the school and the municipality to provide quality education.
For the financial year 2082.083, all the eight local levels should give special priority to the education sector, according to the needs and justifications, all community schools should build friendly water, toilets, classrooms and other infrastructure, which is included in the manifesto, Top Bahadur Budha, the head of Social Development Office Jumla, informed. He said that in the manifesto, there should be a debate for the reform of public education in every municipality and records should be prepared about the successful actions and challenges of the education sector. program, it was also concluded that the expected budget allocation and policy could not be made in the education sector. During the interaction, there was a debate about the neglect of education priority in federalism and efforts and challenges of public education. In the
program, the heads of all the eight local levels of the district, the head of the education branch, the bodies concerned with education and stakeholders were present.
