The distribution of national identity cards has been started from Tripurakot, the center of Tripurasundari municipality in Dolpa. According to the municipality, the distribution of national identity cards has been started from the center of the municipality in order to provide services from the backyard. Within 10 days of starting the service, 452 people have taken the identity card.

After making national identity cards mandatory for taking services such as social security allowances and opening bank accounts, arrangements have been made to make national identity cards from the municipality by bringing in mobile teams to make it easier for the people. According to the municipality, there is no need for the residents of Tripurakot to spend time and money and rush to the headquarters to create a national identity. It is said that the mobile team will stay here for six months.

In coordination with the district administration office, the municipality has arranged food/living facilities for the employees involved in the distribution of national identity cards by setting up the station itself. Chief District Officer Rom Bahadur Mahat informed that the distribution of national identity cards has already been completed in Mudkechula Rural Municipality and Jagdulla Rural Municipality, which are located in the lower part of the district.

He says that there is a problem in distribution of national identity cards in three municipalities of Upper Dolpa due to non-expansion of Nepal Telecom's internet service.
