A jeep met with an accident in Salyan around 3 o'clock on Friday morning. Three people were injured in the jeep accident. A jeep bearing number Ba 13 Ch 1109, coming from Nepalganj to Luham Bazar of Triveni Rural Municipality of Salyan, met with an accident on the Rapti Highway near Kapurkot Rural Municipality-5 Tunibot.
According to Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan, those injured in the jeep accident are 42-year-old Krishna Bahadur Bista, 50-year-old Sunil Prakash Shah and 42-year-old Navraj Shrestha of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city-6 Fultekra of Banke district.
Police inspector Basnet informed that the three injured persons were treated at a medical center in Luham Bazar of Triveni Rural Municipality and all are in normal condition. Now all three have returned home after general treatment. He said that the jeep went out of control and fell into the river about 25 meters below the road.
