480 households of Guthichaur Rural Municipality-1 here have been without electricity for three months. After a problem occurred in the generator and transmitter of the Adali Khola small hydropower project in this ward, the local Parek AD informed that there were problems in Napani, Gadhigaon, Mani Sanghu, Dillikot and Mani villages.

Since last February, after the 55 kW generator and transmitter broke down, the electricity supply has been stopped, but the concerned authorities have not been paying attention to the repairs, the local residents complain.

The lack of electricity has affected children's education, mobile charging, Kutani-Pisani mill and local furniture industry, said local Ganesh Aidy. Jitendra Lama, president of the

project, said that the generator and transmitter could not be repaired due to lack of funds. Arjun Kumar Mahtara, Ward President of Guthichour Rural Municipality-1, said that the local government has allocated three lakhs for the repair and if necessary, additional budget will be managed.

He says that it will soon be necessary for the operation of electricity services.
