The district administration office has distributed temporary entry passes to those who want to go to Taklakot in Tibet after reaching the border area of Northern Namkha Rural Municipality.
Chief District Officer Narayan Pandey said that 374 people were given new temporary entry passes and renewed old ones from Taklakot in Purang County to various places in Tibet, reaching Tumkot, Yalwang, Hilsa, Yari etc. business for residents here He went to Tibet, an autonomous region of China.
So far, he informed that 7 thousand 545 people have obtained entry passes from the district administration office to travel to and from Taklakot.
The chief district officer Pandey said that the road in the Yari Naka area was not opened due to the winter snow and they had to walk downhill for two hours to reach Hilsa. He said that since the vehicle only goes up to Yari, it takes two hours to reach Hilsa and four hours of walking from Hilsa to reach Yari.
