Lift irrigation project has been completed at Dhaulapani located in Tatopani Rural Municipality-6 of Jumla at a cost of Rs 57 lakh 61 thousand.
Village Chairman Nanda Prasad Choulagai informed that the project was built with the aim of increasing the income of farmers through agriculture.
A reserve tank of fifty cubic meters and two auxiliary tanks of 10 cubic meters have been constructed with the support of the Renewable Energy (RERAS) project for the agri-food system and the coordination of the rural municipality.
According to Laxmichandra Bista, President of Lift Irrigation Project Consumer Committee 35 families of the ward have benefited from the project.
