In the recent days, earthquakes have been happening continuously, centering on various places in Jajarkot district.

According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred at 9:31 PM on Monday night with the epicenter at Pank in Jajarkot.

No information has been received about whether or not there was any damage due to the earthquake that took place in Pank of Kushe rural municipality. According to the

center, there were two earthquakes in the evening of March 21st (8.07) and (8.10) with the epicenter at the same place. The first earthquake was 5.2 magnitude and the second earthquake was 5.5 magnitude. Due to the earthquake, some houses suffered minor damage.

Similarly, an earthquake of magnitude four occurred in Darchula on March 20. According to Earthquake Measurement Center, an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred with Humla as its epicenter on March 12.
