Police arrested two people in Salyan with drugs. The police arrested Bhuma Budhathoki, 38, of Bangad Kupinde Municipality-1, and Bhadra Bahadur Singh, 65, of Simta Rural Municipality-4, Surkhet District, from Sallibazar, the main market of Bangad Kupinde Municipality of the district.
Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan, said that after checking the vehicle number 1 B 4008 going from Jajarkot to Nepalganj, 3 kg of hashish-like black substance was found hidden in a bag of Budhathoki in Bangad Kupinde Municipality 1.
Police inspector Basnet informed that the two arrested persons were brought to the district police office and kept in the custody cell of the police office. He said that the vehicle used by them has also been seized.
