Nepal Telecom's telephone tower with internet, built at Thala in Thuliberi municipality-1, has fallen into disrepair. The tower, which was built two years ago, is still not operational. The tower could not be put into operation because the construction company did not complete the work.

Ward President Tejendra Bahadur Rokay said that since the telephone tower with 4G internet service was not put into operation, citizens were deprived of phone and internet facilities.

It has been almost two years since the tower was built. tower was signed around 2079. The construction company claims that 90 percent of the work was completed two years ago, and 10 percent of the work could not be completed due to the difficulty in transporting the goods due to the lack of space for the tower.

Prem Chhetri, deputy manager of Nepal Telecom Babarmahal office, said that the tower could not be put into operation because of the construction business. 'The tower has been built but the work has not been completed, the construction business should give one or two months' time. They have said that they will do the work, only after that the tower will be restored.
