8 people were injured when a Bolero jeep traveling from Surkhet to Naraharinath-3 Dadamadu in Kalikot met with an accident.
Karnali Pradesh vehicle number 02002 Ch 0707 on Tuesday at 5:40 pm fell down about 20 meters behind the area police office Kumalgaon in Narharinath-3, Kumalgaon. According to the police, 8 people including the driver were injured in the accident.
Kalikot police chief DSP Tek Bahadur Rawat said that the initial investigation revealed that the vehicle fell uncontrollably while reversing. The car was damaged in the accident.
In the accident, 20-year-old Rajendra Bishta of Narharinath-3, 29-year-old Anil Kumar Budha, 40-year-old Devi Sahakari of Narharinath-5, 40-year-old Devi Sahakari of Rupsa, 35-year-old Bishnu Bishta of Narharinath-3, 40-year-old Dan Bahadur Sahakari, 28-year-old Ganesh Acharya and 35-year-old Ammar Bahadur Bishta and 24-year-old driver Jagat Bik of Dailekh house were injured. They are being treated at Yogi Narharinath Basic Hospital in Kumalgaon. According to the police, the vehicle went out of control while backing up and the accident happened.
