The price of Raithane crops produced in the district has been fixed. Member Secretary of District Food Management Committee Krishna Bahadur Thapamgar informed that the meeting of District Primary Purchase Committee has determined the prices of seven types of Raithane crops for the current financial year.
According to the new price, Chinese rice is 180 per kg, kaguno rice is 180 per kg, beans are 170 per kg, bitter gourd is 100 per kg, sweet gourd is 120 per kg, Uwa is 120 per kg and millet is fixed at 100 rupees.
The price of Chino, Kaguno and Tite Phapar has been increased by five rupees compared to the previous year, while beans have been increased by 10 per kg.
All these grains of Raithane crops will be purchased by the Food Management and Trade Company Limited through an agreement with the rural municipality. This is the third year that Raithane crop pricing has been officially started in Humla.
