An artificial incident exercise involving measures to avoid fire has been demonstrated at the Tundikhel ground of the Nepali Army at the Jumla Headquarters Khalanga. As the dry season is about to begin, there is the greatest fear of fire.

In the exhibition, there was a model exhibition on how to control fire caused by gas, fire control in houses and private residences, fire control in forests and grasslands, and how to control fire on the body. 

The Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police and City Police showed the work to put out the fire through the exhibition. The Nepali Army on fire control, the Armed Police on how to extinguish a fire with gas and the Nepal Police on how to control a fire in the forest showed a model. Practices were made on how not to panic when there is a fire and how to get out of the house to rescue the injured. 

District Police Office Jumla has informed that awareness is necessary as most fire incidents are happening in Jumla. According to the police data, there have been 16 fire incidents in the current financial year so far, while there were 16 fire incidents last year. 

Disaster Management Committee Coordinator and Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Shahi said that there is a need for awareness to avoid fire. His argument was that citizens should be aware that calamities can occur at any time. 

Navraj Devkota, executive head of Chandannath Municipality, said that the municipality is sensitive about fire control. The municipality has arranged a large amount of money in disaster areas. 

District-based security agencies, Chandannath Municipality, Nepal Red Cross Society district branch Jumla are active in artificial incidents throughout the district.
