One person died in a tractor accident in Salyan. Chhatreswari rural municipality-1 carrying compost manure from Bhalumare to Maiyani. 0200 to 0012 Kshetra Bahadur Khatri, 49 of Chhatreswari rural municipality*1, died when the tractor overturned at Uchittegaura on Wednesday at 8:30 am.

When a tractor carrying compost fell into an accident, Khatri, who was bringing manure to put in the orange garden, was crushed by the trolley.

Prakash Hamal, ward president of Chhatreswari Rural Municipality-1, said that Khatri died on the spot. He informed that the body of the deceased has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. District Police Office Salyan Deputy Superintendent of Police Kesar Kumar Neupane said that while there were four people riding in the tractor, Khatri was sitting in the trolley, so only he was crushed and no one sitting in front was injured.

The driver, Suresh Chand, 35, who lives in Bagchaur Municipality 9, is absconding and is being searched for.
