It has been snowing since Friday night in the higher districts of Karnali, including the Himalayan district Humla. On Friday afternoon, there was no sunshine due to the change in the weather and thick clouds, and it has been snowing since the night.

On Saturday morning, four inches of snow fell in Simkot, the headquarters, while two feet of snow fell in North Namkha Rural Municipality.

Local Gaugora Bohra said that the farmers were relieved when it snowed for the third time in Humla. The farmers of Humla say that the snow that has fallen at this time will improve the yield of the first crop. 

Similarly, life has been affected in North Namkha Rural Municipality including the headquarters Simkot. It is said that the local residents could not leave their homes due to the cold as it was snowing on Saturday morning.

During the snowfall, the temperature here has dropped to minus. Similarly, the only inter-district air service has been disrupted. Air service has been disrupted due to snowfall.
