A four-day food festival will begin in Surkhet from Saturday. Shubh Hotel in Surkhet informed on Friday that it will hold a food festival from Saturday to December 16.

According to Shubh Hotel Prof. Lika, free entry has been arranged for the food festival organized on the occasion of English New Year. Various dishes of local Raithanebali will be exhibited at the festival.

Padma Bahadur Shahi, president of the Karnali Province Industry and Commerce Association, said that there will be 48 stalls in the festival organized with the aim of promoting local Raithane crops. According to him, various products of the farmers of Karnali will be exhibited. In which 15 stalls have been managed for small farmers and businessmen. He said that there are also traditional cultural performances including Hudke. 

He said that for the benefit of industrialists and farmers, an interaction program will also be held with a team including ministers and secretaries in the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Ministry of Agriculture of Karnali.
