Two people died of suffocation inside their house in Surkhet. District Police Office Surkhet has informed that a mother and son died while sleeping in the house in Birendranagar-4 Bhairavasthan inclusive toll.
According to the spokesperson of District Police Office Surkhet, DSP Birendraveer Bishwakarma, 30-year-old Devisara Thapa and her 6-year-old son Rian Thapa of the same place died. Devisara's 9-year-old daughter Riya Thapa was injured, he said. He said that the condition of the injured is serious and they are being treated at the Karnali Province Hospital. Although the
incident happened on Wednesday night, the police said that the news was received only at 9:30 am on Thursday morning.
