745 people across the municipality have benefited from the comprehensive specialist health camp conducted at the basic hospital of Kapurkot Rural Municipality of the district. A lot of local residents have benefited from the camp conducted by the villagers to get health services at their homes.
A one-day specialist health camp was organized by Kapurkot Rural Municipality and with the technical support of Rapti Life Care Hospital Dang. Chairman of Kapurkot Rural Municipality, Durga Bahadur Pun, said that the camp was conducted so that the residents of the municipality do not have to go out for treatment and get services close to their homes. He informed that 103 gynecology services, 137 services for nose, ear, throat, 203 orthopedics and nephrology services, and 218 services for medicine were received from the
camp. According to him, out of which 84 people received lab services, 33 people received video x-rays, 4 people were admitted and provided emergency services. Chief Administrative Officer Bharat Kumar Oli said that Rapti Life Care Hospital will treat those who have come for treatment at the
camp and those who have been referred, at a low fee and free treatment for those with weak financial conditions. He informed that the patients who were forced to go to Dang and Nepalganj for various diseases got some relief from the camp run by the municipality. He said that free medicines were also distributed to all who came to the camp for treatment.
