The Kaligandaki Corridor, which has been blocked for four days, has not yet been reopened. The road has been blocked by a landslide in Belbagar of the Baglung section under the Kaligandaki Corridor since last Wednesday night.

Due to the continuous flow, it is difficult to remove the landslide accumulated on the road. Two excavators from the Road Division Offices Baglung and Palpa are being used to reopen the road, said Ramniwas Sah Teli, Assistant Inspector of Police Post Chisti Belbagar.

Teli said that it will take another two days to clear the road as about 200 meters of the road has been covered by the landslide. He said that more excavators have been ordered to completely remove the landslide. Due to the blockage of the Kaligandaki Corridor, passengers coming and going from Baglung, Myagdi, Mustang, Gulmi, Syangja, Palpa, Butwal and other places have been affected.
