The Gandaki Province government has prioritized tourism, agriculture, and industrialization in the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. On Monday, Gandaki Province Finance Minister Jit Bahadur Sherchan, while presenting the budget in the provincial assembly, informed that the necessary funds will be allocated for research on the branding of domestic liquor and marijuana cultivation. He also said that coordination will be made with the federal government for the operation of the Gorakhkali Rubber Industry and the Bhrikuti Paper Factory.
Similarly, Finance Minister Sherchan mentioned that the provincial government will collaborate with the federal government on the operation of the Dhaubadi Iron Mine and that the provincial government has allocated Rs 250 million for this.
Similarly, he informed that new tourist trails will be studied in the Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri regions and the necessary budget has been arranged for it.
