The candidates of the National Independent Party (NISP) have widened their lead in all three constituencies of Kaski. In Kaski 1, NISP's Khadak Raj Poudel 'Ganesh' is ahead, in Kaski 2, Uttam Prasad Poudel and in 3, Bina Gurung is ahead.
In the counting of votes till Friday morning, NISP's Poudel got 2,653 votes in Kaski 1, while Congress's Tilak Ranabhat got 1,123 votes, UML's Bain Bahadur Chhetri got 1,500 votes and NCP's Rajkaji Gurud got 129 votes.
In Kaski 2, NISP's Uttam Prasad Poudel got 2,417 votes, UML's Rashmi Acharya got 1,214 votes, Congress's Madhav Prasad Bastola got 717 votes and NCP's Hem Bahadur Thapa got 93 votes.
In Kaski 3, RSP's Bina Gurud has so far received 2,074 votes, Congress's Manoj Gurung 895, UML's Damodar Poudel Bairagi 567, and NCP's Gopal Giri 118. Counting of votes is ongoing in all three constituencies.
