Sangta village, located at an altitude of 4,500 meters above sea level to the north/west of Mustang headquarters Jomsom, is the last discovered village in Mustang. There are 39 voters in Sangta village here. The distance from the Himali Basic School polling station in this village is about 40 kilometers from Jomsom. The citizens of Sangta village in Mustang, which is geographically remote, are currently outside the village.
The citizens of Sangta village, located near the border of Mustang and Dolpa, have left the village before Mangsir to escape the winter and are staying at the homes of relatives in the villages around Jomsom in Mustang. A few days ago, the District Security Committee team that had gone to inspect the Himalayan polling station in Sangta village here had returned halfway on the road to Sangta village. After the District Security Committee conducted on-site monitoring of most of the polling stations in Mustang, the Himalayan Basic School polling station in Sangta village here could not be reached due to the road being blocked by snowfall.
