Muktinath Development Committee Joint Manager Arjun Kafle informed that there has been continuous snowfall in the Muktinath area since this afternoon. According to Joint Manager Kafle, there is moderate snowfall in the areas around Muktinath.

The first snowfall of the previous season had started on Kartik 10. Along with this, the committee's Joint Manager Kafle mentioned that it has been snowfall for the fourth time in the current season. Earlier, heavy snowfall occurred in Muktikshetra and Kagbeni in Mustang on Tuesday night. Partial snowfall also occurred in the highlands of Mustang on Tuesday night.

Along with the snowfall in the Muktinath area, the surrounding hills and Ranipauwa Bazaar have been completely covered in snow, informed Muktinath tourism entrepreneur Suraj Gurung. Tourism entrepreneur Suraj Gurung says that it has been snowing continuously for a few hours and if it continues overnight, all the settlements in the Muktinath area will be covered with snow.

With the fourth snowfall in Muktinath, the Muktinath temple is covered with snow. Snow has started piling up in the temple premises, kunda, 108 dhara and other places. It is estimated that more than two feet of snow will fall in Muktinath overnight. After the snowfall in Muktinath, pilgrims who reached Muktinath have started rushing to Jomsom as the snow is causing problems.

Similarly, Ashok Limbu, an employee of the Temperate Horticulture Development Center, informed that partial snow is falling in settlements including high lakes in Kagbeni, lower Gharpajhong and Thasang rural municipalities of Mustang. Employee Limbu said that there has been no snowfall in settlements in lower Mustang for the past three years, but this time there is a hint of heavy snow in the settlements.

Similarly, Salina Nepali, an employee of ACAP Lomanthang, said that despite the heavy snowfall in the high mountains in Upper Mustang, there was no snow in the settlement. She said that despite the scattered snowfall in the high mountains, there was a strong wind blowing in the settlement.

Earlier, the Kagbeni Muktinath and Korala roads were blocked due to heavy snowfall on Tuesday night. The Kaligandaki Corridor Beni-Jomsom-Korala Road Project's dozer cleared the snow from Muktinath and Korala roads and reopened the blocked roads, but it is expected that the Muktinath and Korala roads may be blocked again due to snowfall.
