The District Administration Office, Parbat, has been ranked the best in the country in the performance evaluation. It has achieved the best position in Nepal by obtaining the highest score in the performance evaluation of the last fiscal year 2081/082 BS. In the result of 100 full marks, the Parbat administration has secured the first place in Nepal by obtaining 95.71 marks, informed Chief District Officer Hari Prasad Ghimire.

According to him, in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2081/082 BS, it had obtained 29.06 points, in the second quarter 19.25, in the third quarter 17.87 and in the fourth quarter 29.52 points.

Chief District Officer Ghimire said that the results of the ministry confirmed that it had fully performed the standards specified in the performance agreement with the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Ministry of Home Affairs has been evaluating the district administration offices every year on the basis of standards including service delivery, performance capacity, public accountability, administrative working style.

According to Chief District Officer Ghimire of Parbat, the office has been prioritizing transparency in service delivery to the citizens, the practice of providing services on time, mobilization of skilled manpower and use of technology.

'We have made efforts to listen to citizens' complaints quickly, provide services to service recipients in a comfortable environment, and bring efficiency to administrative work,' he said, 'This achievement is the result of the collaboration of the entire staff team and local stakeholders.' He said that after this achievement, the office has gained commitment and encouragement to provide more effective services.

Bhaktapur ranked second in the performance evaluation, Nuwakot ranked third, Manang ranked fourth, and Dhankuta ranked fifth. Neighboring districts Baglung ranked 24 and Myagdi ranked 32, while Panchthar administration got the lowest result. Panchthar has scored 73.82 points.
