One person died and another was injured when two scooters collided at Tharpu Bazar in Mygde rural municipality-4 of Tanahun under Prithviraj highway last night.
According to Police Inspector Ashish Bishwakarma of the District Police Office, 32-year-old Vijay Thapa of Myagde rural municipality-7 died when a scooter coming from Pokhara towards Damauli and a scooter coming from the opposite direction collided with each other.
Thapa, who was seriously injured, died during treatment at the state hospital in Damauli. Another scooter driver, 19-year-old Pravin Chhetri of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, was injured in the accident. He has been sent to Pokhara for treatment.
