Madhyapahari Lokmarg has been blocked due to severe flood in Kalapairakhola. National pride project Burtibang-East Rukum section has been completely blocked due to flood in Kalapairakhola located in Nisikhola Rural Municipality-4 of Baglung under Madhyapahari Lokmarg.

Due to the rain that fell all day on Sunday, there was a severe flood at night. Tikanidhi Paudel, Ward Chairman of Nisikhola Rural Municipality-4 informed that the public road blocked since night has not yet been opened.

Due to the blocking of the public road, the vehicles going from Rukum east to Kathmandu, Pokhara have come to a standstill at Kalapaira. Chairman Paudel says that small transport vehicles that reach East Rukum and Rolpa from Burtibang through Nisi, Valkot and Rolpa are stopped at Kanabagar. He says that efforts are being made to open the

road. President Paudel says that due to continuous rains, landslides and falling trees are blocking the roads at various places.

Paudel said that as soon as it rains, there is a difficulty in the traffic operation when the mud falls from above and piles up on the road. Chairman Paudel said, 'This year there was a big flood, because of that, the movement of vehicles has been stopped, we have tried to open the roads by using machines that work on the public road, even if it is one-way, we have decided to open it and send the passengers to their destination.
