Amrit Praja (Chepang) of Abukhaireni rural municipality-5 Kholagaon has passed class 12 on scholarship. Abukhaireni Rural Municipality gave him financial support to study at Ramshah Secondary School in Abukhaireni in the academic session 2081.

Student Chepang has passed the examination of that level which was announced a few days ago. Education Branch Head Nirmala Kuvan informed that the rural municipality is supporting 60,000 per month at the rate of 5,000 per month for food and accommodation. He said that 22 of the 24 community schools under the municipality have provided free education at all levels. He said, 'Ramshah and Mitrata Mavi have been made completely free up to class 5. Although it is free in Nepali medium from class 6 onwards, fees have been fixed in English medium. Village Chairman Shukar Chuman informed that this kind of achievement seen in the education field of Chepang students has become a matter of pride for the entire Chepang community and the municipality as well.

Meeting with student Amrit, the president said, 'The rural municipality will provide all the necessary support and initiatives to make the way for future higher education easier.' Chepang, Bhujel etc  Chairman Chuman said that the strategy to expand access to education in the marginalized community, measures to make the scholarship system more effective and the plan to ensure inclusion of the marginalized community in the overall development process will be discussed and planned to move forward.
