The committee, which has been drawing water from the unfinished lift project to avert the water crisis, has been deprived of the facility of tariff exemption even though it is spending 60 lakhs annually on electricity tariffs.

, even though the cost of the project was increased by Rs. 4 crores, since the builders did not pay attention to the completion of the project, the city water supply company was forced to pay millions of electricity bills. "Gandaki province's drinking water and electricity tariff and the federal water supply have also introduced a plan to give a discount on the electricity tariff. If there was some discount on the monthly tariff of five lakh rupees, it would have been a relief," Jisi said.

After the extreme crisis of water supply in Baglung market, the project is in its final stage and since May 2081, water has been drawn from two motors and distributed through an old tank near Lokmarg. The federal government has also come up with a plan to give tariff concessions in the big elevator project . Even though the builders of the
project have completed the construction, water has yet to be poured into two new seven lakh liter collection tanks above the Lokmarg and distributed to Goudakot and Rametar areas. The project to bring the water of Kathekhola located in Baglung Municipality-3 to Ratamata 250 meters above Kailampokhari has reached the final stage, but the burden of electricity tariff has fallen on the city water supply.
After the water test failed, the water pipe was changed by the Water and Sewerage Management Department. Construction businessman Krishnahari Choulagai admitted that there was a delay in the completion of the project. He said that the project site is geographically weak, there is a delay in landslide management, the corona crisis, the economic crisis and solving the pipeline design problem are the reasons for the delay in completion. The elevator project was built in such a way that the water of the Kathekhola under Baglung market was drawn and purified through the elevator and distributed.
