District Police Office Police Inspector Keshav Thapa informed that the corridor was blocked due to a landslide in Baglung Municipality-12 Kalakhola. He said that long and short distance vehicles were stopped due to the blocking of the corridor. He said that the road cannot be opened as it is currently raining heavily and will be opened after the rain stops.
The direct traffic between South Baglung and the headquarters has been cut off due to the blocking of the road. Police Inspector Thapa said that after the landslide blocked the corridor, tourist vehicles going to Mustang and vehicles going from Baglung to Butwal, Bhairahawa and Sunauli were stopped. .
He said, 'The corridor has been completely blocked by landslides, there is no condition for vehicles to move, even now it is raining heavily, it is not possible to open the road immediately, if the rain stops, we will use machines to open it by morning.'
