What you should know

On the night of San 12th, there was a theft at the house of 41-year-old Chandra Kumari of Andhikhola rural municipality-1 Panchamool of Syangja. Locals near the house reported the theft to the police station. The post informed the district police office Syangja.

It is not the first time that Chandrakumari's house has been stolen. A year ago, a mobile phone was stolen at home. A few months ago, 15 houses in Panchmul were stolen on the same day. Repeated theft in the same place but the thief was not caught.

After a large amount of gold was stolen from one house, District Police Office Syangja deployed an investigation team under the leadership of Police Inspector Pravesh Tiwari. Tiwari's leadership was investigating by forming an investigation committee in the district police office.

A local Dhanbaraj Gurung made a complaint to the police. 38-year-old Gurung became like a village leader. When Chandrakumari was questioned, he used to answer himself . He continued to be angry saying that when the police did not investigate strictly, there was theft all over the village, when gold and cash were stolen from Chandrakumari's house, the police did not catch the thief.

Dhanraj, who is also the president of the local youth club, was close to Chandrakumari . After the investigation, the police started investigating the activities of Dhanraj. When Dhanraj was called for questioning, he would only fight, and he would not help at home when searching the house. The police asked for more help after they did not cooperate while searching Dhanraj's house.

Seven and a half tolas of gold and 4 thousand rupees were lost from Chandrakumari's house during the night. When the police investigated Chandrakumari, who was called the victim, and Dhanraj, who became the leader, it came to light that the gold and cash were hidden in the collusion of the two people.

After it was revealed that Dhanraj and Chandrakumari were lovers, the police investigated suspiciously. According to Investigating Officer Police Inspector Pravesh Tiwari, the scene was suspicious. He said that many bases were also found from the scene.

6 months ago in a gold shop in Pokhara, Chandrakumari and Dhanraj admitted to the police that they kept 3 tolas of gold by paying 6 percent interest.

District Police Chief Superintendent of Police Dadhiram Neupane said that the rest of the gold was hidden in plastic in the bushes behind the house. Chandrakumari's husband Buddhi is on foreign employment and her two daughters are living with Pokhara Bhanji. She kept her daughter in the care of her niece and she was living in Maiti. The police said that the husband who is abroad has also been informed about this matter .

'It has been seen that money has been embezzled,' SP Neupane says, 'We are investigating . Other suspicious activities have also been observed. As involvement in other incidents has also been seen, we have proceeded with the investigation more strictly.'

Police investigation forced to pay interest on gold, two people had other debts but did not have cash with them, and with the advice of Chandrakumari and Dhanraj, the gold theft was pretended. The two people have told the police that the gold theft was planned after the husband was unable to account.  After failing to help in the

investigation, the police have registered a case related to indecent behavior at the district administration office on Sunday and started the investigation. Police investigation has revealed that Dhanraj has already had two marriages and now both wives are not with him.
