Foreign Minister Dr Arju Rana Deuba has said that Pokhara has been developed as a hub for adventure tourism. She mentioned that Pokhara itself has been established as a naturally beautiful city in the inauguration program of Bagaincha Resort Spa launched by Anshuvara Group at the lake site of Pokhara.
Recalling that she came to Pokhara as a child, Minister Deuba held the view that she was attracted by the beauty of the place at that time. Noting that the effects of climate change are affecting all areas in recent times, she emphasized that we should also be alert as there are reports of increasing effects of floods in the neighborhoods to the north and south.
Stating that the fear of lack of rain and excessive rain is increasing here too, Minister Deuba pointed out the need to focus on sustainable development through cooperation and coordination to minimize the effects of climate change. Stating that Nepal is making an important contribution to the conservation of biological diversity, she praised the garden resort operating in Pokhara for making this issue a priority.
Resortmarf is trying to give a message that something should be done in the country. Although the hard work done abroad will earn only money, the hard work done here will also contribute to the country and gain respect,' said Minister Deuba.
Former Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Khagraj Adhikari said that Pokhara is a gift of nature. Stating that 68 percent of the tourists coming to Nepal want adventure tourism to come to Pokhara, she mentioned that it was from this province that Prithvi Narayan Shah unified Nepal and Bhanu Bhakta unified the language.
President of Anshuvara Group and Minister of Social Development of Gandaki Province Vindukumar Thapa said that they are moving forward with the latest thinking in the fields of tourism, entrepreneurship and employment. Saugat Thapa, Managing Director of Anshuvara Group, opined that the Garden Resort Spa was launched with the idea that something should be done in the country.
