The bodies of a couple buried in the Langdi landslide of Deurali, Modi rural municipality-3 of Parbat have been found.
According to the District Police Office, the dead bodies of Chavi Lal Vishwakarma and his 76-year-old wife Bishnumathi have been found. They were buried in last night's landslide Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravin Bisht informed.
Police and locals who went from Dimuwa and Kushma were active and searched for the missing people after removing the landslide.
It has been raining continuously since last night in the surrounding areas including the mountains. The water level of Modi, Pati, Seti, Malyangdi, Lamae Khola and Kaligand rivers in this region has increased. The local administration has asked the residents of rivers and streams to be alert.
