Bukipatan is empty in winter and shepherds go with goods in rains. Jeevan Adai, a hotelier from Dhorpatan, informed that most of the tourists who come to Dhorpatan recently go to Bukipatan. He says that Bukipatan, where shepherds have been living for years, has become more crowded during the summer season as tourists have started visiting it. Adai says that after the tourists started going to Bukipatan, he started operating the guesthouse in Garpacheda.
'Earlier there were shepherds and thousands of sheep and cattle in Bukipatan, now more and more tourists have started going, the road from Dhorpatan valley to Garpacheda was very narrow and difficult, from time to time shepherds and cattle used to fall and get injured.
Kathepul has been constructed in three places, and a resting place has also been built in three places. Tourists have started arriving at Bukipatan since the first week of last May.
