A woman has died due to snake bite in Madhyabindu Municipality-6 Bhandar of Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East).

Local 46-year-old Shanti Dumre was taken to the hospital after being bitten by a snake on Wednesday night and died during treatment.

On Wednesday at 9 o'clock at night while washing the dishes at home, he died last night after being bitten by a snake on his right leg and taken to Kawasoti Hospital in Kaligand for treatment, said Superintendent of Police Yadav Dhakal of District Police Office Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta Purva). 

It is said that the species of the snake bitten has not been identified. With the summer season, the cases of snakebite have started to increase in the district.
