With the upgrading of Beni-Jomsom-Korla road, the arrival of tourists in Mustang has increased. Two-thirds of the road has been increased in Myagdi and Mustang section of Korla road.

Mustang is the main destination of the country from the point of view of religion and tourism. Muktinath Temple, Kagbenidham and Damodarkund are the main religious places . 

Similarly, Lomanthang Palace, Korlanaka, Dhumbatal, Ghar Gumba, Marfa, Jomsom Bazaar are the tourist destinations of Upper Mustang. Isolated geography, natural beauty, biological diversity, ancient monasteries and monasteries as well as religious, social and cultural heritage here have been attracting people of all ages. 

When comparing the tourism data of the past five years, the number of tourists in Mustang has doubled. It has been found to be increased . According to the District Police Office, 678,536 domestic and foreign tourists visited Mustang during the 11-month period from July to May of the current fiscal year 2081/82. Last year, four lakh 54 thousand 326 domestic and foreign tourists visited Mustang  had visited . From July to mid-May of the current financial year  5 lakh 39 thousand 872 natives and 1 lakh 38 thousand 664 foreigners from 72 countries came to Mustang. Last year, 354,927 Nepalis and 99,399 foreigners came here.

From July to May of the current fiscal year, the most domestic tourists  99 thousand 176 people in the month of October and  In the month of March  It is mentioned in the office records that 89 thousand 344 people visited Mustang.

Similarly, 28 thousand 372 foreign tourists visited Mustang in the month of May and 26 thousand 29 in the month of Baisakh.
