The construction of administrative building of Raghuganga rural municipality has started. The construction of the municipality's administrative building has been started after the land was managed free of charge by the community in Mauwa district, the center of the municipality.

On Friday, village president Bhab Bahadur Bhandari laid the foundation stone of the administrative building with religious rituals. The municipality has started the construction of the administrative building from the 20 million budget allocated for the current financial year 2081/082.

Matrubhumi Developer and Engineering Pvt Ltd has been mobilized in the work area after signing a contract for 13.39 million 98 thousand. Bhandari informed that the foundation of the building has been laid and the construction work has been started with the goal of completing the construction work in two years.

According to him, a proposal has been submitted to the Gandaki provincial government and the federal government for additional budget for the construction of the building estimated at 94 million 44 thousand 950. 

The rural municipality had started the land management work for the construction of the administrative building since 6 years ago. "Land worth crores has been made available free of charge from the community, the landowners have made a great contribution to the construction of the administrative building of the municipality, we have advanced the Gaurab plan to build a building to make the municipality have infrastructure to make the service of the municipality simple and convenient," he said. 

The senior sub-engineer of the village, Kamal Bahadur Chokhal, told   He said that the foundation work has been started by acquiring the land for the construction of a facility-equipped building with 33 rooms and a meeting hall on three floors.

The construction business has said that they have mobilized the manpower in the work area along with the construction social and equipment required for the building.

After the free land was available for the building of the rural municipality, it has been providing services from the multi-purpose building built by the rural municipality two years ago. Village Chairman Bhandari said that the administrative building is going to be constructed with the aim of using the multi-purpose building as staff accommodation and providing services to citizens in a simple and easy way by constructing a facility-rich building.
