25 people were injured in a bus accident on Tuesday afternoon in Mygde Rural Municipality-4 Ghumti under Prithvi highway.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa informed that the driver of the passenger bus No. 5 B 6841, which was going from Pokhara to Surkhet, lost control and the bus fell down about 20 meters from the road. Among those injured in the accident, 15 people were sent to State Hospital Damauli, 7 people were sent to Ratnahari Hospital Damauli and 3 people were sent to Magde Polyclinic Tharpu, he said.
4 people have been discharged after treatment, one person has been referred to Gandaki Hospital Pokhara. District Police Office Tanahun has informed that further investigation is being conducted regarding the accident.
