The Narayanghat-Butwal road has been blocked due to water in the southern section. The police said that traffic was blocked on the road which was being expanded to four lanes on Tuesday morning due to slippery conditions due to rain.
Janakraj Banjara, Chief Police Inspector of the District Traffic Police Office informed that due to the mud in the Bishwakarma Mandir and Paisathi Mode of Vinayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2, the operation of vehicles was completely stopped. According to Banjara, after the rain stops, the dozer will clear the mud and send the vehicle to its destination.
The road is being closed for 6 hours at night and the road is being completely blocked even during normal rains in this section. The Narayanghat-Butwal road expansion project is working to complete many works of this section by the coming June. At present, the passengers are suffering due to the daily road closures.
