Two persons died and 14 others were injured when a microbus and a scooter collided in Bhanu Municipality-10 Kalimati under Dumre-Bensisahar section today.
Ashok Thapa, deputy superintendent of police of the district police office, informed that when a microbus No. Ba2Kh 4022 going to Lamjung from Dumre collided with a scooter No. G26P 4058 coming from the opposite direction, one person on the microbus and one person on the scooter were killed. The deceased is yet to be identified.
The man in the microbus died in Lamjung and the woman in the scooter died in Damauli Hospital. The seriously injured scooter driver has been sent to Chitwan Medical College for treatment. Microbus driver Man Bahadur Ghale of Sindhupalchok has been detained.
