Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has claimed that the government is not in crisis due to the appointment of governor and any other issues.
In a press conference organized by Press Union Kaski on Saturday, he said that the government will select a qualified person as the governor.
There is no question of sharing. Only qualified people should be selected. For this, the government will decide after the necessary discussion,' he said, 'There is no crisis in the government because of the governor's words or anything else.'
He said that the government has already countered that because the opposition party has been saying that the government will collapse instead of changing the government.
Similarly, he said that Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have agreed to form a joint committee to amend the constitution.
He said that the two parties have reached an agreement on the number of members of the said committee. It has been agreed that Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) will form a joint committee. There is almost a consensus on the number," he said. "Constitutional amendment will be done with everyone's consent. It should not be done in a one-way manner.'
