A woman who had gone to take a bath in Kusma Municipality-5 Modiveni of the district was swept away by the Kaligandaki river. District Police Office Parbat said that 38-year-old Bishnu Pant, a resident of Mahashila rural municipality, was swept away by Kaligandaki river around 12 noon on Monday.

According to the information given by Information Officer Police Inspector Ram Prasad Sapkota, the woman who got swept away while bathing in the river has not been found yet. Police Inspector Sapkota also said that they are in search. 

Although her house is in Lunkhudeurali, she lives in Kaski Amarsingh Chowk, but she came to Kusma Didi's house. Today, in the new year, there was a crowd of people going to take a bath at the entrance of Kaligandaki and Modi river since morning.
