Two people have gone missing in an avalanche in the Annapurna mountain of Myagdi.

Rima Sherpa and Nima Tasi Sherpa of Solukhumbu have been missing since this morning when an avalanche came between Camp 2 and 3 of Annapurna Himal, Ningma Sherpa, the owner of Trekking Agency, said.

He informed that the other Sherpas in the base camp were searching for them and a rescue team was sent from Kathmandu by helicopter. According to the tourism department, 30 men and 12 women from four groups have taken permission to climb Annapurna for Vasantayam.
