A Border Out Post (BOP) is going to be established at the border of Himalayan district Manang and China. BOP will be established in Narpabhumi rural municipality for the purpose of determining the border crossing.
District Administration Office Manang has informed that BOP will be established in Narpabhoomi rural municipality-4 Foo village. BOP is going to be installed at an altitude of about 4000 meters above sea level.
Chief District Officer Matrika Acharya said that BOP is going to be established for ease and security at the border. He informed that 20 ropani land has been provided to armed police on long-term rent for establishment of BOP. Prajia Acharya said that government land has been provided for rent to be used by armed police as per the requirement.

'Fu area is a difficult area in Manang. 35 armed policemen including police inspectors will be deployed in BOP. Prajia Acharya said that they will proceed in coordination with Narpabhumi Rural Municipality and BOP will be done as soon as possible.
He said that after the establishment of BOP, it is expected to be more effective in peace security, disaster management and the rescue of tourists who fall ill due to the lake.
